I was going to post a nice theme about balancing patterns in miniatures and started searching for images to use as examples. Then I happened upon Queen Mary's dolls' house dining room, probably because I visited it so often. Then some Edwardian photos by Sweetington, and the subtle use of patterns in miniatures drifted out of my mind.
